Theodore Sedgwick Letter, 1824.

The collection consists of a copy of a letter from Theodore Sedgwick in Norwich, VT, to Harmanus Bleecker in Albany, NY, 9 July 1824. The letter was published in The Nation on 5 May 1910 (Volume 90, No. 2340), pp. 455-456. In the letter, Sedgwick writes of the faculty and courses offered at the American Literary, Scientific and Military Academy (Norwich University) and of a recent march of the cadets to Plattsburgh, NY.
